Professor Hopkins is a world renowned expert in the analysis of the causes of major industrial accidents and has assisted many organisations in improving and developing systems of prevention. Companies that have commissioned an independent Safety Culture Review include BHP Billiton, Xstrata, Woodside Petroleum and the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company. Presentations delivered by Professor Hopkins include the BP Texas City Refinery Incident, Mindful Leadership, Lessons from Longford (Esso Gas Plant Explosion) and Safe Behaviour Programs.
