“Sustainability – The Top Agenda of the Safety and Health”

Speaker Details:

Ms. Nattasha Freeman CFIOSH LLB(Hons) RMaPS CIWEM is the current President of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) . She is also a member of the IOSH Council. Ms. Nattasha Freeman has been serving in the industries of safety, health and environmental management for over 15 years. She held various key management positions on safety and health in a number of major projects, such as the Channel Tunnel, the Beyond London Project, the Railtrack Major Projects and the Chase Norton Construction Project. Currently, Ms. Nattasha Freeman is the Director for Health and Safety at Phoenix Beard Property Consultants in Birmingham UK. Although Ms. Nattasha Freeman had acquired her law degree and had achieved to a law study level of the Law Society Finals, she decides to devote herself to the professional service of safety and health with a clear mission of “Change the world and Make a Difference “’.

As an active and renowned safety and health professional in the field, among other contributions, Ms. Nattasha Freeman is a founding member of the “Working Well Together” of the Midlands Action Group. The Group has been working closely with the Health and Safety Executive in the past five years to provide information and supports to small and medium construction companies in areas of occupational safety and health.

Programme highlight:

We are delighted to invite Ms Nattasha Freeman to deliver a Presidential Address to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the IOSH Hong Kong Branch. Ms. Nattasha Freeman will introduce the current development of safety and health in UK and will share with us her wisdom and reflection on the sustainability of the safety and health, in particular those key attributes for maintaining a long lasting success. Participants are encouraged to have constructive discussion with our President – Ms Nattasha Freeman on issues of professional development and cooperation with the IOSH during the session of tea gathering. Tea gathering will be arranged for participants from 4:00 to 5:00pm.

CPD: Certificate will be issued to participants who have completed the entire duration of the seminar. Each participant shall register and collect his/her CPD certificate (with pre-printed name but without the Institution’s stamp). No registration will be allowed after 03:00pm. Upon the completion of the seminar, we will stamp the CPD certificates for validation at the reception counter. Only certificates with the Institution’s stamp are considered as valid CPD certificates.

Remarks:

To prevent the spreading of Influenza infection, we request participants who have influenza-like symptoms, e.g. fever, cough and runny nose, should not attend the seminar. Alternatively, he/she should put on a face mask throughout his/her stay at the seminar. Please provide us your contracts (phone number or email) at time of on-line registration. We will notify you as soon as possible should any case of Human H1N1 Influenza at the seminar is confirmed.
