The Speakers
Ms Andrea Har, Lloyd's Register Rail (Asia) Ltd, has extensive experience in safety, reliability and risk management and involved in a number of railway, power and chemical projects and operations in Hong Kong, Thailand, the UK and Australia. Recently, she has been supporting a client in high reliability operations to develop competence standards and assessment tools for the safety critical roles.

Programme highlights:
Competence management is one of the key elements which underpin the reliability of operations in safety critical environment. Having the right person for the right job is essential when seeking to deliver safety operations. The speaker will give an overview of the tools and methods to assist competence management. The process of designing a competence management system will be introduced. Relevant incidents and case studies will also be discussed.
