OSH Seminar: Innovative Application of Technologies for Effective Suppression of Construction Site Air Pollution

Programme highlights
Despite steadily growth of occupational safety and health (OS&H) technology application in construction industry, the protection of the working parties and the surrounding against air pollution is taking a passive approach, mostly by wearing face mask and with the adjacent environment. In order to tackle such an ignored OS&H issue, a device, which is aiming to provide a holistic solution for improving the air quality of construction area with simplicity, economy and effectiveness, has been developed by a local engineering firm. This presentation describes the innovative application of existing technologies for improving the environment of the traditional offensive and ignored area in the construction industry.

Speaker
Mr. Vincent Lau, Manager of REC Engineering Company Limited and work for more than 15 years. He had participated in various large scale local project including the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre Extension, Ventilation installation for MTRC platform screen door project and Re-development of Lai Chi Kok Prison, etc.
