About Us
The Hong Kong Association of Risk Management and Safety is dedicated to those who are committed to improving safety in their areas of responsibility through management of risk. The Association is organized as a not-for-profit institution, no part of its assets or income is inured to the benefit of any private individual, partnership, or corporation.  The Association engages in activities that are consistent with the qualification as a tax-exempt entity.

Vision
The Association shall be the leading inter-disciplinary professional institution devoted to the advancement of knowledge in Risk Management and Safety in Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific region.

Mission
The purpose of the Association is to train, foster and promote:
(a) knowledge and understanding of risk management techniques and their applications;
(b) communication and interaction among individuals engaged in Risk Management and Safety;
(c) application of risk management techniques to assure safety and control risks;
(d) dissemination of Risk Management and Safety information and concepts to all interested individuals and entities;
(e) advancement of the state-of-the-art in all aspects of Risk Management and Safety; and
(f) integration and interaction of the various disciplines involved in Risk Management and Safety.

The Association shall conduct briefing and training sessions, seminars, technical visits, and other related activities to meet the vision and mission of the Association.

The Association has served as the organizer of the following major events and will continue to take a leading role in organzing world-class events in Hong Kong to meet our vision:
(a) 2005 Asia-Pacific Conference on Risk Management and Safety, Hong Kong, China, Dec 2005; and
(b) PSAM9 - International Conference on Probabilistic Safety Assessment and Management, Hong Kong, China, May 2008.

Membership
The Association welcomes individuals, who share the Vision and agree to the Mission of the Association, to be a member of the Association. To apply for the membership of the Association, please fill in a copy of Membership Application Form
